I am supporting Addiction Recovery Coalition of NH this year for NH Gives.

As the Program Manager here at ARCNH it has been such an amazing honor and privilege to be part of the growth of the center this past year. Because of the support of the community and donations from last years NH Give we have been able to implement 10 new recovery support and educational groups, support over 200 individuals and/or family members, host a half dozen pro social events, host 3 CRSW training series, host 2 Youth Mental Health First Aid trainings, host 2 VA.

Save trainings, support our local veterans, scholarship 4 individuals for the CRSW training series, help over dozen individuals enter substance use treatment, provide basic hygiene necessities to multiple unhoused individuals, provide Christmas gifts to 23 mothers and their children, backpacks and school supplies to the Souhegan Valley Boys and Girls Club and children at the Cynthia Day Family Center, have our first annual Recovery Walk, support our local businesses with Recovery Friendly Workplace support and so much more.

As a person in long-term recovery, a recovery community like ARCNH helps me in continuing to sustain my recovery by providing a safe, supportive and compassionate place where I feel seen, welcomed, and loved just as I am. My children love coming to work with me and being a part of the center’s events and activities, my oldest son even told me he wants to grow up and work at ARCNH helping people.

Recovery has given me the opportunity to be a mom, wife, daughter, sister, friend, mentor, employer and productive member of my community and with your support we can continue to support our community members reach and sustain recovery from substance use just like I have been given.

Please help me in reaching my goal in this year’s NH Gives.
