FINDING RESOURCES DURING SUD RECOVERY

Recovering from Substance Use Disorder is a difficult journey and it affects a person’s life in many ways. The barriers to recovery aren’t always the recovery work itself; although that is also challenging; at ARCNH we recognize the challenges presented by everyday life and work to help you navigate those challenges to build a life that serves your recovery. Here we have put together a brief list of resources that might help you overcome some of the barriers to your recovery. For further help and information please contact us at (603)554-8142 or recover@arcnh.org.

Lamprey Health Care Health Insurance Counseling

The Affordable Care Act made a change that required insurance plans to cover many of the healthcare related expenses of recovery. As a result private insurance plans, Medicaid and Medicare cover many of these expenses. However, the insurance marketplace can be incredibly difficult to navigate. Lamprey Health Care out of Nashua NH provides counseling services to help solve just this problem. “Trained navigators and certified application counselors are available to provide education about the Marketplace, help understand and evaluate Qualified Health Plans, apply for federal tax subsidies and assist with the enrollment process.”

If you need assistance purchasing an insurance plan or understanding your existing insurance call Lamprey Health Care at (603)292-7730 and ask to speak with a Certified Application Counselor.

SAMSHA’s find a treatment tool can help you find Substance Use Disorder services, Mental Health services, SUDs and MH services combined, Health Care Centers, Buprenorphine Practitioners (MAR), and Veterans Affairs facilities. This tool can be extremely helpful during the initiation of recovery and as a tool for maintaining recovery as a person’s needs evolve over time.
